There is no better way to assure the transportation profession remains strong into the future than attracting the best and brightest to the field of transportation engineering.

Through formal partnerships with U.C. Davis, Sacramento State and California State University, Chico, and programs designed specifically for college students, NorCal ITE is reaching out to the transportation professionals of the future and paving the way for their professional success.

Student membership is free for the first year and only $20 annually in subsequent years during your education, a 92% discount off of regular dues.

Scholarship

The Northern California Section of ITE is pleased to solicit applications for this year’s Student Award Program. The student winner(s) will recieve and all-expenses-paid trip to the 2012 Western District Annual Meeting to be held June 24-27, 2012, in Santa Barbara, California.

This award is open to all undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled at institutions of higher education located within the Northern California Section. The student Award(s) is presented annually to one or more students who demonstrate genuine interest and potential in the transporation industry. Ideally, applicants will be majoring in a transportation related field, although this is not a specific requirement. Additional consideration will be given to those applicants with at least one more year remaining to complete their currently pursued degree.
